Physiotherapy
This treatment is conducted by physiotherapists that helps a person return to the highest possible level of physical function. Concentrating primarily on controlled and balanced movement, increased strength and stamina.
It is crucial that a stroke survivor perform this treatment as soon as possible. Physiotherapy compromises many different methods to help the stroke survivor relearn how to balance and move which includes practising movements to encourage both sides of the body to work together. Our experienced physiotherapist will assess the stroke survivor and later on plan the appropriate treatment that they will have to undergo. Our physiotherapist will help on getting the correct positioning to ensure that muscles and joints remain flexible and pain free.
Stroke Rehabilitation
Our stroke rehabilitation service provides a wide range of therapies that aim to recover patient's speech, physical, occupational and recreational abilities. Our specialists provide these services to help stroke survivors to talk and walk again and also to regain other skills.
We also help stroke survivors learn new ways to do things to compensate for abilities that they have lost. Early rehabilitation is very crucial. Every stroke survivor must seek rehabilitation treatment as soon as possible. The sooner they start, the faster the brain relearns normal movements. The longer rehab therapy is delayed, the harder it will be for a stroke survivor to recover. That is why we make it a point to put this as a priority.
